Cornell College Theatre has announced its next production will be Christopher Durang’s “Why Torture is Wrong and the People Who Love Them.” The event will take place at the Plumb-Fleming Black Box Theatre on the Cornell College campus next weekend, Dec. 15 through Dec. 18.
The production is being billed as a biting satire that “turns political humor upside down with this hard-hitting, raucous and provocative satire about America’s growing homeland insecurity.”
The play will run Thursday through Sunday, Dec. 15 through 18. Shows are at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday. $10 for adults, $7 for seniors/students/youth. Tickets can be reserved by calling (319) 895-4293 or through email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
