Cornell Theatre takes on Durang Comedy

Cornell College Theatre has announced its next production will be Christopher Durang’s “Why Torture is Wrong and the People Who Love Them.” The event will take place at the Plumb-Fleming Black Box Theatre on the Cornell College campus next weekend, Dec. 15 through Dec. 18.

The production is being billed as a biting satire that “turns political humor upside down with this hard-hitting, raucous and provocative satire about America’s growing homeland insecurity.”

The play will run Thursday through Sunday, Dec. 15 through 18. Shows are at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday. $10 for adults, $7 for seniors/students/youth. Tickets can be reserved by calling (319) 895-4293 or through email at [email protected].
