A subcommittee of volunteers is working on writing a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) statement for the Mount Vernon-Lisbon Community Development Group (CDG). Once completed the CDG DEI statement could be considered for adoption by other MV-L community nonprofits and other organizations, businesses, schools or City groups.
If you lead or are a leader of a business, organization, City or school group based in Mount Vernon and/or Lisbon, the committee would like your input.
CDG represents both Mount Vernon and Lisbon communities and the statement fits well into the organization’s mission: “To develop and promote our business environment, including but not limited to our Main Street District, and enhance the quality of life in the communities we serve.”
