Small Business Workshop: Website Creation

This small business workshop is for Mount Vernon and Lisbon small businesses. The event, the second in a series of website development workshops led by Mount Vernon resident and Go Daddy Customer Consultation & Care Supervisor Casey O’Connor, will focus on website creation.

RSVP on Facebook.

For this workshop, O’Connor will plan to offer a real-time website creation workshop, taking a business represented at the workshop and using that business as an example for the class as to how easy website creation can be. One business represented at this workshop will leave with a new website.

“This is the type of work that we do every day at Go Daddy,” says O’Connor. “If I can help a few small businesses in my own community succeed by just sharing the work I do every day, then of course, I am happy to help.”

O’Connor plans a 45-minute presentation, followed by a question-and-answer period, and will be bringing a simple form to help small businesses plan a Website, as well as a beginner’s guide and resources to get them started. “I am confident that I can teach anyone to do this type of work,” he says.

Because the workshop will take place from 5 to 6:30 p.m., CDG is planning to offer some appetizers, water, soda and wine. Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP (for food and beverage planning) to Joe Jennison.

All are welcome to attend free of charge with RSVP.
