The Mount Vernon Community Band’s Tuneful Tuesdays concert series returns this summer. The concerts are located at the gazebo in Memorial Park on Tuesday evenings at 7:30PM.
Join the band for a weekly performance led by Mount Vernon Middle School band director Elise Rodenberg. Records show that this community band was first organized in the 1850s.

- The music can be enjoyed by the entire family!
- You can bring a lawn chair.
- Free popcorn is provided by Mount Vernon Bank & Trust.
- Free water will be supplied by volunteers from the Mount Vernon-Lisbon Community Development Group (CDG).
Those interested in participating in in the Community Band are welcome to join. Rehearsals generally take place the Monday night before the concert. Those interested in joining can contact Elise Rodenberg.
If it is raining, the concert will be moved inside the former Uptown Mt Vernon Fire Station.
