2019 Summer Reading Kickoff Party
Cole Library and Lisbon Public Library will officially kick off the summer reading program with a party at the Mount Vernon Hills Bank. This is a fun event to start getting excited about summer reading. Attendees of the Summer Reading Kickoff will sign up for the summer reading program, play games, and eat treats.
The 2019 summer reading theme is A Universe of Stories. If you are unable to attend, you can still sign up at the library after May 21.
There are 3 different programs: Children, Middle School, and High School. Children who participate in the program receive a notebook for the stickers they will earn by coming to story time and checking out library books. When they have filled their notebook with all ten stickers, they receive a specially designed shirt donated by Hills Bank.
