Kate Harding presents new work from Nasty Women anthology

Cornell College’s Center for the Literary Arts presents Distinguished Visiting Writer Kate Harding, who will share an essay from a forthcoming anthology she’s co-editing with Samhita Mukhopadhyay, titled “Nasty Women: Feminist Writers on Living and Fighting in Trump’s America” (Picador 2017).

Harding is author of the 2015 book “Asking for It: The Alarming Rise of Rape Culture–and What We Can Do About It” and co-editor of the anthologies “The Book of Jezebel: An Illustrated Encyclopedia of Lady Things” and “Lessons from the Fat-o-sphere.” A prominent figure in Chicago’s live lit scene, she is teaching a course at Cornell College called “Live Lit: The Personal is Political.”

Her presentation will be followed by discussion and refreshments.
