Mount Vernon Mural Ribbon Cutting
The Mount Vernon Area Arts Council is having a community mural unveiling event. The Mount Vernon Mural Ribbon Cutting Ceremony is on Saturday, May 13, 2017.
Artist Strider Patton is the community mural project facilitator. The mural’s theme and images were determined by discussions with local community members and students.

Local residents and Mount Vernon students will be contributing to the completion of the mural. The project was organized in in collaboration with Mount Vernon art teachers Mark Benesh, Sarah Fitzgerald, and Ely Sotillo.
