Music Mondays: Wayfaring
Music Mondays will feature Wayfaring on Monday, October 1, 2018.
Wayfaring is the first of 3 performances scheduled for 2018-2019. This duo includes vocalist Katie Ernst and clarinetist James Falzone and takes its name from the beloved American folk song “Poor Wayfaring Stranger.”
What began as a casual meeting between like-minded players has formed into a collective of unusual nuance and depth. Wayfaring performs a wide array of material including jazz, American folk, hymns and spirituals, arrangements of popular songs, and originals.
Music Mondays presents three performances in King Chapel, the centerpiece of the historic Cornell College campus. The concerts are free and open to the public.
