One-Man Show: “Confessions of a Gay Catholic”
Joe Jennison will read his one-man show “Confessions of a Gay Catholic” at Heritage Hall, above the Lisbon Public Library. The play is a series of true stories that track Jennison’s struggle with Catholicism and ultimately details his reconciliation with the church. He is promoting this as a “stumble-through” where he will hold the script as he performs and use very few props or set pieces. This will be the first public reading of this particular piece.
The event should take no more than an hour and will be followed by a brief talkback.
All are welcome and the event is free.
