The need for highly skilled EMS and hospital personnel is great, especially with the extensive rural geography of Iowa. However, providing this wide range of healthcare providers with ideal and consistent training using innovative solutions is challenging. With 3 mobile simulation trucks, state-of-the-art equipment, and highly trained staff, Simulation in Motion-Iowa (SIM-IA) brings much needed continuing education to EMS and other emergency providers throughout the state.
