The Iowa Goatsinger: Near Fear
Representing the Iowa Goatsinger, Mike Moran is premiering a new solo performance piece, “The Iowa Goatsinger: Near Fear.” A mix of story, movement, song, and generally foolish behavior, “Near Fear” premieres in Mount Vernon on October 27.
Blending humor, tragedy, and a good, old-fashioned creep-factor, “Near Fear” is an exploration of those moments of high-anxiety that tends to take us by the throat – whether it be in the anxiety of confronting your girlfriend’s father or making your way bravely towards the spooky sounds coming from deep in the woods.
