Weaving for Beginners
This workshop is being conducted by Cindy Roberts. Weaving is one of the oldest crafts in history, dating back thousands of years. Before weaving became a textile craft, early humans weaved branches, twigs and other fibers to create household items and clothing.
In this basic weaving workshop you’ll be provided a rigid cardboard loom along with a variety of yarn supplies to create a weaving of your design. If you’re not done with the weaving during the 2 hour class period, you’ll have the option to “check out” the loom to complete your weaving and then return to the instructor.
