Women’s Roles in the Civil War

Juanita Leisch Jensen is a nationally known collector, researcher, and writer on subjects related to women and the Civil War.  She will present a program on Women’s Roles in the Civil War at Lisbon’s Heritage Hall. This presentation is called “Women’s Roles in the Civil War: Essential to the Cause.” It will focus on socially acceptable and militarily significant ways women participated in the war and how they changed the lives of American soldiers in the Civil War and every war since.

This event is free and open to the public.
