Unbridled Spirits, Sutliff Cider offer fundraiser

Unbridled Spirits Thoroughbred Retirement Ranch and Sutliff Cider Company are partnering to present the 2nd Annual Pumpkins and Ponies Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Sutliff Cider Company, 382 Sutliff Road, Lisbon.

The family-friendly fundraiser event will offer food and merchandise vendors, live music, bake sale items, a silent auction, hayrack rides, kids events and more. One low admission fee gives individuals and families access to all events.

“This is the 2nd year for this fundraiser for the thoroughbred retirement ranch,” Said Tina Norris, Director of Unbridled Spirits. “Remember, 100 percent of all proceeds go directly to the care and feeding of these majestic racehorses, many of whom have been sent to us straight from a life of abuse and exploitation. Please help us, help them.”

Tickets for the event are $9, children 3 and under are free. Family four-packs are available for $30. Tickets can be purchased at all Cedar Rapids and Marion Hy-Vee stores, or at www.unbridledspiritsttb.org

This event is made possible through sponsorships from several businesses and organizations including Balloons Etc., Frida Kahlo Bakery, Hill’s Bank & Trust, Junction Auto Sales, Mount Vernon Bank & Trust Co., Mt. Vernon Eye, P&K Equipment, Sherwood Electric, Sutliff Cider, University of Iowa Community Credit Union and Unbridled Spirits Thoroughbred Retirement Ranch.
