Marianne Zahorik of Lisbon is the grand prize winner of Mount Vernon-Lisbon’s first-ever Restaurant Week. As part of the promotion, diners were asked to experience different Mount Vernon and Lisbon restaurants, keeping track of where they ate using a passport. After dining at each individual restaurant Zahorik and others were asked to get stamps or signatures from the various culinary artists of Mount Vernon and Lisbon. If any particular diner were to get five signatures, they could register to win a grand prize.
Zahorik ate a six local restaurants throughout restaurant week including Addy’s Public House (pictured left), Fuel Art & Espresso, The Local Crumb, Lincoln Wine Bar, Skillet Cafe, and Sutliff Cider.
The grand prize in the promotion includes a series of goodies from Mount Vernon-Lisbon businesses: a two-night stay courtesy of Sleep Inn, a $25 gift certificate courtesy of Chameleon’s, a $25 gift certificate courtesy of Palisades CafĂ©, and two cups of coffee and two baked goods from Fuel Art & Espresso. Also, Zahorik will receive $100 of Community Cash good for any business in Mount Vernon or Lisbon courtesy of Bridge Community Bank, Hills Bank, Mount Vernon Bank & Trust Co. and the Mount Vernon-Lisbon Community Development Group.
