The Mount Vernon-Lisbon Community Development Group (CDG) board have created an innovative fundraiser at Chalk the Walk to benefit summer programming of the CDG. The Brunch-on-a-Stick (BOAS) Fundraising committee will be selling brunch-on-a-stick items to mothers and others who attend the Chalk the Walk festival on Mother’s Day Weekend May 7 and 8.
Pricing has yet to be released but the group has confirmed the following menu:
Pork Kabobs on a Stick
Fruit Salad on a Stick
Caprese Salad on a Stick
and for dessert.. Donut Holes on a Stick.

Look for their booth Mother’s Day weekend, May 7 and 8, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Old Firestation, 215 1st St. NW, Mount Vernon.
