Join the Mount Vernon-Lisbon CDG in welcoming Cornell College’s newest students to Mount Vernon and Lisbon! Local business and organizations are invited to participate in this annual community welcome event by opening your doors, setting up a table, or sharing information with incoming students.

Approximately 300 new Cornell students will walk throughout 1st Street East and West with their orientation groups, stopping to meet local businesses and organizations.
- Brick-and-mortar businesses are encouraged to stay open, if possible!
- Community organizations may reserve space in front of City Hall for a table or display.
- Students will receive a BINGO card featuring fun prompts that encourage them to visit and learn about participating businesses and organizations.
