Purple martins are the largest members of the swallow family. In areas east of the Mississippi River, purple martins are unique in their nesting methods. Instead of building their own shelters, they depend entirely on human-provided housing. Join Larry Olson on Tuesday, March 10th at 6:30pm in Room 108 for a program on these beautiful and fascinating birds.
