Kick off National Get Outdoors Month with the McElmeel family and Friends of Pleasant Grove Heritage Park!

DATE: Saturday, June 7
TIME: 1:00 – 4:00pm

• View the preliminary conceptual plans for the park
• Learn about conservation at the Conservation Station, a mobile science learning lab hosted by Iowa Learning Farms, with demonstrations, games, and interactive learning activities
• Enjoy a hike around the park and relax in a hammock afterward
• Explore the park with an outdoor scavenger hunt using the Adventure Lab App
• Go fishing in the pond (Some poles and bait will be provided but feel free to bring your own.)
• Help with our prairie reconstruction project by participating in the biodiversity survey activity (appropriate for all ages)

Snacks and water provided by our friends at Hertz Farm Management.
