Join the Staff and Friends of Palisades-Kepler State Park for the 7th Annual First Day Hike on January 1st , 2026!

This event is free, open to the public and all ages. The guided hike will leave the Palisades-Kepler Lodge at 12pm.

Join the Friends of Palisades-Kepler State Park after the hike at the Lodge for hot drinks and refreshments! Items of note:

There will be a porta-potty at the Lodge.
All pets must be leashed.
Donations will be accepted and directly support the park.
