Master Gardener Talk: Homesteading

Master Gardener Talk: Homesteading

In September, Cole Public Library (Cornell College Campus) will host a series of classes offered by Linn County Master Gardeners.  Four Master Gardeners will present a garden program on four consecutive Monday evenings starting at 6:30pm in Room 108. The classes are free and do not require pre-registration. This is a collaborative program with Lisbon Library – the libraries switch off hosting Master Gardener Talks each year.

September 22nd: Homesteading
Learning to become self-sufficient or living “off the grid” is no easy feat. In this class we will talk about everything from establishing fruits and perennial vegetables to managing the harvest at the end of the season.

All are welcome at these informative sessions. Contact Grace Chamberlain at [email protected] or 319-895-5940 with question.
