Get ready for a day of friendly competition, community spirit, and plenty of spice at the 19th Annual Mount Vernon Chili Cookoff! This event brings together chili enthusiasts from near and far for a flavorful showdown you won’t want to miss.

Event Schedule:

• 10:00 am- Teams can arrive and begin setup – NO COOKING BEFORE
• 11:00 am- Cooking can begin
• 12:00 pm- Beer Tent Opens
• 1:00 pm- Stein Holding Contest
• 1:00 pm- Bags Tournament begins (registration from 11:30-12:30)
• 1:30 – 2:30 pm – Karaoke with Michael Bray of Hilltop Plants & Records
• 3:00 pm- Public tasting begins
• 5:30 pm- People’s Choice voting ends
• 5:45 pm- Announcement of the winners

Tasting Info:

• Passport card: $20 for 25 tastings
• Individual tastings: $1 each
• Grilled cheese and beverages available for purchase
