The name Helios Stitches N Stuff was chosen because Helios means “the sun” in Greek. We’ve collected suns for years (you can see them displayed in our store) and our fabrics are sunny and bright so the name seemed appropriate.
Helios was born in early 2012 when Leland and Kevin began their quilt shop in the First Street Community Center. It is located on the main floor, east side of the building, next to the entrance from the parking lot.
Kevin and Leland are very knowledgeable about their products, helpful with quilty questions, and just great fun!
