Rhubarb Botanicals Apothecary has herbalist-crafted healing remedies made with vibrant botanicals grown organically on their local farm.
Their apothecary features tinctures and elixirs, therapeutic salves and balms, functional and delightful tea blends, & other small-batch seasonally-inspired creations. These vibrant herbal remedies are crafted from the plants they tend and harvest on their medicinal herb farm near Mount Vernon.
Rhubarb Botanicals cultivates over 80 varieties of medicinal and culinary herbs and more than 60 varieties of flowers on just over one acre using sustainable and regenerative practices. Their farm is Certified Naturally Grown and will soon be Certified Organic.
While the farm is not open to the public, their shop in the First Street Community Center is typically open Wednesday from 4 pm – 7 pm. Check their Facebook page for up to date times and possible cancellations due to weather. Orders can also be made online from their website.
For the past couple of years I’ve relied on Rhubarb Botanicals for high-quality herbal tinctures and fresh herbs, but recently I purchased her Chamomile Cream for my face. It is such a lovely product – the scent alone makes me swoon – and my face readily drinks in the soothing ingredients.
