The Chalk the Walk committee has announced that this year’s Chalk the Walk festival will take place Saturday and Sunday, May 4 and 5, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
The annual festival, managed by the City of Mount Vernon, the Mount Vernon Area Arts council and the Mount Vernon-Lisbon Community Development Group (CDG) brings thousands of people to Mount Vernon and encourages artists to roll up their sleeves and take part.
Artists interested in participating with a 8′ x 10′ square are encouraged to apply early, space is limited.
