Chalk the Walk, Mount Vernon’s first festival of the 2023 season will take place May 6 and 7, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The festival features 170 artists recreating art over three City blocks in Uptown Mount Vernon. This year’s main piece will be a 30′ x 60′ replica of Van Gogh’s “Artist Bedroom at Arles.”
A volunteer team or artists and engineers are building a lifesized replica of “Artist Bedroom at Arles” for display at the event. Guests will be able to get their picture taken INSIDE the actual lifesized replica at the event.
The event also includes food and music and shopping at dozens of local Uptown retailers.
