Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, sponsored, entertained, and supported Heritage Days 2026. Your participation helped make another memorable celebration for our community.
As the Heritage Days Committee and CDG continue our post-event debrief, we’re inviting the community to complete our Heritage Days 2026 Community Feedback Survey. Every response is reviewed and helps shape future planning.
Heritage Days is a volunteer-led event that requires eight months of planning and hundreds of volunteer hours to coordinate entertainment, vendors, logistics, marketing, safety, permits, sponsorships, and more. While we’re proud of another successful weekend, we also know there are opportunities to improve.
This year, we’ve received feedback regarding the delayed opening of the Kids Zone and food vendor availability. Some challenges resulted from vendor-related issues, while others highlighted areas where the committee can improve communication, signage, vendor placement, and the overall attendee experience. And yes—we heard you on the funnel cakes!
Finally, thank you to our incredible Heritage Days Committee. These dedicated volunteers invest hundreds of hours each year, with many working 8–12 hour days throughout the festival weekend. Their passion makes Heritage Days possible, but growing the committee is essential to keeping the event sustainable.
Interested in helping shape the future of Heritage Days?! Committee meetings begin this November, and we’d love to welcome new volunteers. Please email [email protected] to get involved.
