The Mount Vernon Area Arts Council has announced that the Lincoln Highway Arts Festival will be held Saturday September 18 from 9 am to 4 pm in downtown Mount Vernon. Last year’s event was canceled because of the pandemic.Â
This will be the 15th Lincoln Highway Arts Festival. Each year, the festival has featured a wide array of media and styles: painting, photography, ceramics, fiber, sculpture, multimedia and more. The event will also include music and activities for the kids. The event attracts artists and visitors from all over the region.
SAFETY: We are absolutely committed to having a safe festival for everyone. We will be in full compliance with health recommendations in place on Sept. 18. We’re going to wait on our decision how to lay out the event so that we can provide adequate distance and spacing for the safety of the artists and visitors.Â
