Heritage Days is just one month away, and this year we are celebrating America’s 250th birthday as a community!
July 10th & 11th, Mount Vernon has a packed schedule of family activities, live entertainment, a drone show, food, drinks, and plenty of red, white, and blue.

Be Part of the Parade
The Heritage Days Parade is one of the biggest highlights of the weekend, and registration is now open. Businesses, organizations, clubs, sports teams, and community groups are encouraged to join the fun. Lineup begins at 9:30am on Saturday, July 11th at Cornell’s SAW (Athletic Complex) & the Parade begins at 10:30am.

Host a Game
We’re looking for businesses, organizations, and community groups to host games and activities during Heritage Days. It’s a great way to engage with attendees and add to the festive atmosphere.

Bingo for Heritage Days
Want to support Heritage Days while having a great night out?
Join us from 6–9 p.m. on Thursday, June 25, at Scorz for a Bingo Night benefiting Heritage Days and the Lion’s Club.
In addition to bingo, there will be a 50/50 raffle, plus the Heritage Days Committee will raffle off two Coach Suites at the MAC for the 2026 Heritage Days Drone Show.
