The Mount Vernon-Lisbon Community Development Group is excited to announce that the Business Enhancement (BE) Lisbon Grant is now open! The City of Lisbon is offering a $5,000 grant to one business looking to grow. The winning business must provide a 25% cash match for a project or projects detailed in its application. The grant winner will be chosen by a group of judges based on an application and a live business project pitch.
Additional requirements include, but are not limited to:
- For-profit business located within the city limits of Lisbon, Iowa
- Zoning compliant at the time of application
- In operation for at least one year
- Applications are due 1/2/2026 by 4 PM to Lisbon City Hall or via [email protected]
- Applicants will also need to make a 15-minute presentation (live pitch) to a panel of judges
- 25% cash match required
- Projects is to be completed before June 5th, 2026
